Physician led, independent 450+ bed hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician to join and help shape a community oncology program.
• Community style hematology and oncology position - 2 oncologists needed for this growing program
• Reasonable patient volumes averaging 17 patients per day
• Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Financial Navigation and Nurse Navigation all in place
• Oracle/Cerner EMR
• Weekly Tumor Conferences – Mayo Clinic Care Network partner
• Clinical trial resources available
• Dedicated Oncology APRN for inpatient coverage with an average of 15 patients per day
• Join a rapidly expanding program: practicing oncologists and 2027 fellows encouraged to apply
• H-1B visa sponsorship available — unable to sponsor J-1 waivers
Compensation & Benefits:
• Medical Director will receive a base guarantee/medical director compensation + wRVU bonuses with volumes available to make over $1,000,000 in annual compensation
• Unheard of employer retirement contributions of $46,000 annually
• Generous sign-on bonus, 8 weeks PTO, CME stipend, full health benefits, relocation assistance, and malpractice coverage
